How to Stay Healthy During the Pandemic and the Flu Season
- Practice good hygiene.
- Eat a balanced, nutritious diet. Drink plenty of clean water. Limit alcohol intake.
- Get enough sleep. Get daily physical movement, and prioritize spending time in nature by hiking or forest bathing.
- Take a few moments to pause and recenter. Meditation, prayer, yoga, breathing practice, and setting aside electronic devices are all good ways to do this. Try a “news fast” one day per week.
- Take time to check in with your loved ones.
During this flu season, in particular,
- As a preventative measure, we recommend taking a dose of this year’s influenzinum remedy every 2-4 weeks. We expect to get this remedy in stock by mid- to late October. Contact the clinic if you’d like us to reserve a vial.
- Set up a regimen of antiviral supplements. Vitamin C, Vitamin D, and zinc are foundational, with the addition of NAC for those with underlying chronic lung issues. We’ve stocked a supplement powder for you that provides these core nutrients at adequate doses.
If you or a family member are exhibiting any COVID-19 or flu-like symptoms, call the clinic so we can schedule a telemedicine appointment: 425-881-8929.
