How to Stay Healthy During the Pandemic and the Flu Season

  1. Practice good hygiene.
  2. Eat a balanced, nutritious diet. Drink plenty of clean water. Limit alcohol intake.
  3. Get enough sleep. Get daily physical movement, and prioritize spending time in nature by hiking or forest bathing.
  4. Take a few moments to pause and recenter. Meditation, prayer, yoga, breathing practice, and setting aside electronic devices are all good ways to do this. Try a “news fast” one day per week.
  5. Take time to check in with your loved ones.

During this flu season, in particular,

  1. As a preventative measure, we recommend taking a dose of this year’s influenzinum remedy every 2-4 weeks. We expect to get this remedy in stock by mid- to late October. Contact the clinic if you’d like us to reserve a vial.

  2. Set up a regimen of antiviral supplements. Vitamin C, Vitamin D, and zinc are foundational, with the addition of NAC for those with underlying chronic lung issues. We’ve stocked a supplement powder for you that provides these core nutrients at adequate doses.
